Google Business Profile optimization starts with the two fields most businesses get wrong: the categories Google uses to decide which searches you belong in, and the service listings it matches against what people actually type. LocalBigFish rebuilds both, shows you a line-by-line comparison against your current listing, and publishes only what you approve.
Sign in with the Google account that manages your profile. No card, no call booking, no sales form.
$0 no card, no trial clock
Connect your profile and we read every service off your website, check your category against what actually ranks, and write five finished service listings. You read every line, edit what you want, and approve it before a single field changes. If you don't like it, don't approve it. Nothing happens, and nothing was risked.
The five services are added to your profile. Nothing already on it is removed or overwritten. It is a working sample of the real thing on your real profile, not a demo account and not a PDF audit.
Two fields decide most of it. Almost every local business fills them in once at setup and never touches them again, which is exactly why the ones that do touch them move.
| Field | Typical profile | After the rebuild |
|---|---|---|
| Primary category | Picked at signup from whatever sounded closest | Chosen against what actually ranks for your searches, in your area |
| Additional categories | Empty, or one or two guesses | A full set covering every service line you really offer |
| Service listings | Blank, or a handful of one-word entries | Named and described in the words customers search with |
| Service descriptions | Missing entirely | Written per service, within Google's length and content rules |
| Record of changes | None. No way to tell what was edited, or undo it | Snapshot before every write, reversible on request |
Categories tell Google which searches you are eligible to appear in at all. Services tell it which specific queries you match once you are eligible. Get the first wrong and the second never gets read.
Five stages, each ending in an approval. You can stop at any stage, and nothing reaches your Google Business Profile until you approve it.
Sign in with the Google account that owns or manages your Business Profile, then choose which location to work on.
We read your current categories and services, crawl your website, and build a complete list of what you actually offer.
We propose a primary category and additional categories, benchmarked against the businesses ranking above you. You approve the list.
Each category is filled with named services and written descriptions matched to how people search. You edit and approve them.
We back up your current profile, show you an exact before-and-after comparison, and publish only what you approved.
Your work is reading and approving. There is no onboarding call, no questionnaire to fill in, and no waiting on a strategist to get back to you.
Start on the free rebuild. Move up only once you have seen the work on your own profile.

LocalBigFish requests a single Google permission, Business Profile management, and uses it only for the work described above.
business.manage, to manage your Google Business Profile listingsOur use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
We act as your authorized representative for a limited purpose. Your profile remains yours.
Every stage ends in a sign-off. The publish step shows a line-by-line comparison of the exact changes before you confirm.
We snapshot your existing categories and services immediately before publishing, so any change can be reversed.
Any change we make to your profile triggers a dedicated email notice to you, sent separately from any other correspondence.

On the free rebuild, nothing is removed. Google's API replaces the entire service list in one call rather than merging into it, so we read what is already on your profile and send your existing services plus the five new ones. On a full rebuild, where the whole catalogue is being replaced, the comparison shows every removal explicitly before you approve it. Either way we snapshot your existing categories and services immediately before every write and keep that snapshot for rollback.
No. We write to two fields, categories and service items, on the one location you selected. Your name, address, phone, hours, photos, posts and reviews are never touched. The single permission we request is the one Google provides for managing profile listings; there is no narrower scope available that covers categories and services alone.
It is free and it does not expire. There is no card, no countdown, and no automatic upgrade. It is capped by scope rather than by time: five services added, plus a category recommendation you can act on or ignore. The reason we give it away is that reading a real rebuild of your own profile is more convincing than any claim we could make on this page.
It is the same method, which is where it came from. This is the process Marketing by Data ran manually for clients, turned into software so the research and the writing happen in minutes instead of over a week of back-and-forth. The judgment work still gets done. What disappears is the waiting, the calls, and the per-hour billing.
The rebuild is ready to review in minutes, and publishing takes effect on your profile as soon as you approve it. Google may take its own time to reflect changes in search results, which is outside anyone's control. Note that Google caps profile edits at ten per minute, so very large service catalogues publish in sequence rather than all at once.
Never, and you should not give it to anyone. You sign in through Google itself and grant access with a permission you can revoke at any time from your Google Account permissions page. We never see your password, and access credentials are stored encrypted.
Your services inventoried, five of them written and added, a category recommendation, and a backup taken before anything changes. Free, and you approve every line.
